Who we are
We are professional counsellor and experts in psychology, training and sport recreation from The University of Hong Kong. We are Adventure Educators who have been growing and developing through the adventurous programs since university life. We believe adventure could inspire personal breakthrough in life – socially, in family and at work.
We want to share our experience and enthusiasm with people who are keen on advancement, breakthrough and adventure in life.
Our team members are expertises in adventure education and have more than ten-year experience of leading and organizing expeditions in different locations, such as Himalaya India, Yushan Taiwan, Mt Qizi Tibet, Qinghai, and Yasugatake Japan, with great successes.
Our team members are also the first recognized Hong Kong instructors of the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics and the Wilderness Education Association of United States.
Ernest Lau
Over 8 years experience in training and development expertise of several listed companies, Ernest has provided planning, organizing and delivering train-the-trainer, leadership and management skills through various classroom and adventure-based workshops to front liners of retail corporations, in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan and to MBA students of The University of Hong Kong.
He concentrates on organizational development of company and behavioural change of corporate staff. He is specializing in training in an interactive and alternative way, which creates an interesting and lively learning atmosphere for participants.
He studied English Language & Linguistics and Psychology and holds a degree from The University of Hong Kong. He further studied as a Neuro Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner certified by the founder of NLP, Dr Richard Bandler and he has become a certified organizational trainer.
Chan Kwok Suen Terry
Graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in Psychology, Terry further obtained his Master degrees in Social Work and in Counselling there. He is a registered social worker with 6 years of individual and group counselling experience, specializing in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Terry also develops expertise in outdoor adventure and personal development. He is an instructor of the Wilderness Education Association (US) and a Leave No Trace master educator instructor.
Terry had served in the family services centre and probation office of the Social Welfare Department. He also works as instructor for the YMCA of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong, leading local adventure programmes as well as overseas expeditions. He had been organizing and leading the students and alumni from the University of Hong Kong for overseas expeditions to Japan, Taiwan, India, Tibet and Qinghai respectively.
