Overview

High Altitude Mountaineering with full support

Climb up to the highest peak of Africa: Kilimanjaro, one of the most pursued among the 7 summits of the world. We will use the Marangu route with mountain huts support along the way. It will be a gradual climb to 5,893 metres with additional rest day for sufficient acclimatisation. After the climb, enjoy safari in the great national parks of the Africa wilderness!

高海拔登山遠征
是次遠征將會攀登非洲第一高山乞力馬紮羅峰：世界七大高峰中較入門級的一個。我們會挑戰海拔5,893米高的頂峰並投入大山之中，滌淨心靈。登山路線為全程有山屋的Marangu route，並有加設一日額外高海拔適應日。完成壯舉後，我們會在非洲大草原上遊獵觀賞野生動物。

Day 1: 25 Dec

Hong Kong – Moshi, Tanzania

香港 – 莫希，坦桑尼亞

Accommodation: Local hotel 住宿：酒店

Day 2: 26 Dec

Moshi → Marangu Gate → Mandara Hut (2,750m)

莫希→ Marangu 國家公園 → Mandara 山屋(2,750m)

Accommodation: Mountain Hut 住宿：山屋

Day 3: 27 Dec

Mandara Hut (2,750m) → Horombo Hut (3,720 m)

Accommodation: Mountain Hut 住宿：山屋

Day 4: 28 Dec

Acclimatisation and Light trekking

Day 5: 29 Dec

Horombo Hut (3,720 m) → Kibo Hut (4,703 m)

Accommodation: Mountain Hut 住宿：山屋

Day 6: 30 Dec

Summit Day登頂日 Kibo Hut (4,703 m) → Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) → Horombo Hut (3,720 m)

Accommodation: Mountain Hut 住宿：山屋

Day 7: 31 Jan

Horombo Hut (3,720 m) → Marangu Gate → Moshi

Accommodation: Local hotel 住宿：酒店

Day 8-9: 1-2 Jan

Safari 追踪野生動物

Accommodation: Lodge / Camp 住宿：酒店 / 營地

Day 10-11 : 3-4 Jan

Local shopping; Tanzania to Hong Kong

早上購物，下午坦桑尼亞往香港

Requirement and other

- Lead by Wilderness Education Association (US) instructors with vast experience in overseas expeditions to 6,000m+ peaks
- Supported by local guides and porters
- Only need to carry personal gears
- All technical equipment included
Programme Fee: HKD$43,850

Fee include:
- TIC Levy,
- Round-trip economic class air ticket,
- Local transportation stated in itinerary,
- Twin-room accommodation,
- All meals in the mountain, guide and porter fee, and group equipment
- 15 kg personal luggage allowance by porter during trekking
- One training session in HK
Fee not include:
- Tips for local guides and porters,
- Meals in city,
- Personal travel insurance,
- Fuel sub-charge, airport tax, visa,
- Personal clothing and equipment,
- Vaccination and medicine
- Any other costs incurred by programme not specified above.
